My Point Of View On...
Succeeding (By Making Mistakes)

My Point Of View No. 1: You have to fail over and over again by making trial-and-error mistakes—until you figure out why you made those mistakes, and you figure out how to correct those mistakes, and you figure out how to not make those mistakes in the future—so that you are able to succeed!

My Point Of View No. 2: Therefore, you cannot succeed in the end, so to speak, until you fail in the beginning, so to speak.

My Point Of View No. 3: In other words, do not fear making mistakes: if you do make mistakes, strive to correct the mistakes that you make—and you will be well on your way to succeeding.

My Point Of View No. 4: For, the problem with succeeding in life is not based upon not making mistakes; the problem with succeeding in life is not correcting the mistakes that you make.

My Writing About The Problem With Succeeding In Life: The problem with succeeding in life is not based upon not making mistakes; the problem with succeeding in life is not correcting the mistakes that you make. –Paul Whiting (written January 4th, 2012 and revised July 23rd, 2022)

My Writing About Every Single Soul: Every single soul is a success story waiting to happen! –Paul Whiting (written January 19th, 2012 and revised July 23rd, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About God Making Us Correct Our Own Mistakes: Mistakes are God's Gift For Our Survival! For, God made every single one of us imperfect beings, so that we would all know how to correct our own mistakes: because knowing how to correct our own mistakes is what gives us the ability to change—and the ability to change is what gives us the power to adapt to our environment! Therefore, God's Gift For Our Survival is our ability to correct our own mistakes and, subsequently, to be more adaptable to our environment. –Paul Whiting (written May 17th, 2012, revised September 19th, 2021 and revised July 23rd, 2022)

My Writing About Not Succeeding Until You Fail: You cannot succeed in the end, so to speak, until you fail in the beginning, so to speak. –Paul Whiting (July 23rd, 2022)

My Writing About Both The Mother And The Father Of Invention: There is an old saying that goes, "necessity is the mother of invention," which is patently true. However, what is also patently true is that "persistence is the father of invention." –Paul Whiting (December 15th, 2022 and revised December 17th, 2022)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About "Slow And Steady Wins The Race," Version No. 1: As the saying goes, "slow and steady wins the race," since the one who crosses the finish line first in the marathon of life, so to speak, isn't only who wins the race: it's everyone who crosses the finish line—just as soon as they are able to cross it—who wins the race! –Paul Whiting (December 15th, 2022, revised December 17th, 2022 and revised May 21st, 2023)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About "Slow And Steady Wins The Race," Version No. 2: Life is kind of like a marathon in that the one who crosses the finish line first isn't the only who wins, because "slow and steady wins the race." Thus, it's everyone who crosses the finish line—just as soon as they are able to cross it—who wins the race! –Paul Whiting (December 15th, 2022, revised December 17th, 2022 and revised May 21st, 2023)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Correcting The Mistakes That You Make, Version No. 1: Making mistakes—and correcting the mistakes that you make—is what makes it possible for you to not make those same types of mistakes in the future, based upon the mistakes that you make! –Paul Whiting (written April 21st, 2024 and revised April 23rd, 2024)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My Writing About Correcting The Mistakes That You Make, Version No. 2: Making mistakes—and correcting the mistakes that you make—is what makes it possible for you to not make those same types of mistakes in the future, based upon the experience that you gain from the mistakes that you make! –Paul Whiting (written April 21st, 2024 and revised April 23rd, 2024)

My Mathematical Notes:

The reason that I wrote this prose can be summed up with the following statement: You have to fail over and over again by making trial-and-error mistakes—until you figure out why you made those mistakes, and you figure out how to correct those mistakes, and you figure out how to not make those mistakes in the future—so that you are able to succeed! Therefore, you cannot succeed in the end, so to speak, until you fail in the beginning, so to speak.

And this prose was also published on my "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer" blog (please see the hyperlink below for the blog), since I feel that the message in this prose applies to the message that I am trying to convey through "Paul Whiting — A Creative Writer."

This prose was written in Portland, Oregon.
